Focus on potential energy savings in the precast concrete plant
ICCX 2024 in Warsaw
Efficient production methods in precast concrete production
The presentation "Energy saving potentials in concrete plants" by Mr. Christian Prilhofer on 28.02.2024 at the ICCX 2024 in Warsaw focused on the essential importance of efficient production methods for price differentiation in the concrete industry.
Particular emphasis was placed on saving energy in precast concrete production, with a focus on electrical and calorific energy. A preferred approach is to consider energy efficiency as early as the planning and construction phase of the plant, as this is where the greatest potential for savings can be seen. Nevertheless, existing plants also offer numerous opportunities for energy savings during operation.
Strategies for saving energy and tried-and-tested solutions for precast concrete plants
Various strategies for saving energy were presented, including tried-and-tested solutions that can be applied to the respective production plants.
In addition, examples from successfully implemented projects were also presented to underline the feasibility and effectiveness of the measures presented.
The measures presented by Mr. Prilhofer not only contribute to economic advantages, but also provide important impulses for the sustainable development of the concrete industry.
